Born on January 4, 1957, at St. Mary’s Hospital in Wausau, she grew up in Marathon, where her gifts, curiosity, and determination began shaping the remarkable woman she would become. Her passing brings profound sadness to those who knew her, yet her memory remains a source of comfort and inspiration.
Cindy graduated from Marathon High School before earning her degree in dietetics from the University of Wisconsin–Madison, a field in which she excelled with both skill and compassion. She began her career as a registered dietician at UW Hospitals and Clinics, later contributing her expertise to Marshfield Clinic, where she helped open an eating disorders clinic. Her work reflected not only professional excellence but also a deep commitment to helping others heal, grow, and reclaim their well‑being.
From childhood onward, Cindy’s talents were extraordinary. She was a gifted athlete who achieved a **world championship in baton twirling**, a rare accomplishment that showcased her discipline and artistry.
