Born on March 6, 1980, in Wausau, Sarah was the beloved daughter of Larry and Pamela (Phillips) Duellman. In June of 2002, she married James Jacob at St. Mary Catholic Church in Marathon, beginning a journey of love and devotion that defined her life. As a wife and mother, Sarah poured her heart into her family, creating a home filled with warmth, laughter, and care.
Sarah was deeply involved in her community, especially through her work with 4‑H kids, where she shared her time, talents, and encouragement. She also enjoyed crafts, finding joy in creativity and expression, and loved watching family and friends play cornhole, cherishing the simple moments of togetherness. Her passions reflected her generous spirit and her ability to find happiness in both big and small things.
She will be remembered as a loving wife, mother, daughter, sister, and friend. Survivors include her husband, James Jacob; children, Daniel and Leroy Jacob and Dakota Merriam; parents, Larry and Pamela Duellman; sister, Jennifer Duellman; brother, Phillip (Sara) Duellman; father and mother‑in‑law, Gene and Rose Ann Jacob; and numerous other relatives and friends. Her life touched many, and her absence will be felt deeply.
Though her journey ended far too soon, Sarah J. Jacob leaves behind a legacy of love, kindness, and devotion. Her memory will continue to live on in the hearts of her family and friends, offering comfort and strength in the difficult days ahead.
