Rev. Pamela Kay Williams, a devoted resident of Selmer, Tennessee, departed this life and claimed her eternal healing on April 8, 2026. Born on January 31, 1960, to Willie Joe and Sabra Ann Whitley Wilbanks, she entered the world as one half of a precious pair of twins—a bond she cherished throughout her life. Her passing leaves a deep ache in the hearts of her family, church community, and all who were blessed to know her, yet her legacy of faith and love continues to shine brightly.
Pamela’s life was rooted in her unwavering devotion to God. She gave her life to Jesus in 1983 at Emmanuel Tabernacle Holiness Church, beginning a lifelong journey of service, worship, and ministry. She was gifted musically, playing the piano, organ, and accordion with joy and passion.
Singing praises to her Savior was one of her greatest delights. In 1998, she accepted her calling to preach, boldly sharing the message of God’s power and love. She was a prayer warrior—someone who carried the burdens of others with compassion and lifted them up with steadfast faith. For more than 20 years, she worshiped faithfully at Grace Apostolic Community Church (Sand Hill Holiness Church), where her presence, prayers, and praise became a cornerstone of the congregation.
Family was the heartbeat of Pamela’s life. She adored her children, grandchildren, and great‑granddaughter, and she found joy in every moment spent with them. She loved talking on the phone with her mother and sister, and their conversations—often filled with laughter and playful teasing—were a treasured part of her daily life. Her family remembers her as a woman who loved deeply, encouraged freely, and always made room for joy, even in the simplest moments.
Pamela also found peace and fulfillment in the quiet joys of life. She shared her mother’s love for gardening, faithfully planting tomatoes, tommy toes, cucumbers, and peppers each year. She enjoyed reading, working puzzles, creating jewel art, sewing, and appliqué quilting—hobbies that reflected her creativity, patience, and gentle spirit. These simple pleasures brought her comfort and allowed her to express the beauty she carried within.
She leaves behind a loving family who will forever cherish her memory: her son, Basil Williams, Jr.; her daughter, Angelia Williams (Claudean); her grandchildren, Katilynn Cruz, Maddox Williams, Alex Williams, and Sebastian Swinea; and her great‑granddaughter, Zoey Cruz.
She is also survived by her mother, Sabra Ann Wilbanks; her twin brother, Stanley Wilbanks (Bertha); her brothers, Rev. Delphus Wilbanks, Rev. Steven Wilbanks (Cheryl), and Rev. Wathon Wilbanks (Maronda); her sister, China Lynn Horton; 14 nieces and nephews; and 8 great‑nieces and nephews, with one more expected in August.
Pamela also leaves her godchildren—Gina Russell (John), Carolyn Bradford, and Chrissy Arnold—her honorary grandchildren—Stephanie Porter, Kaleb Kirkpatrick, Autumn Bonadio, and Eric Russell—and two lifelong friends, Marilon Smith and Barbara Daughtery, all of whom held a special place in her heart.
A service celebrating her life will be held on Sunday, April 12, 2026, at 2:00 PM at Emmanuel Tabernacle Holiness Church, 633 Tommy Sanders Rd, Stantonville, TN 38379. As her loved ones gather, they do so with both sorrow and gratitude—mourning her absence, yet rejoicing in the assurance that she is now at peace, healed, and resting in the presence of the God she served so faithfully.
